My Portfolio

Regardless of  where it was produced, the materials used, or the style in which I chose to work, there is a consistency to my work.  The exploration of resilience and the parallels which can be drawn between the  persistence of nature and the determination of an individual is a theme I return to again and again. Though fragile, our environment shows a quiet resolve to thrive despite constant threats. These acts of endurance inspire me to reflect on the inner self that struggles to do the same—to persevere despite injury or trauma. The human spirit’s resilience enables it to heal, rebuild, and carry on, twisting and folding to conceal its imperfections and move forward. These quiet triumphs are remarkable in an impatient world filled with noise, turbulence, and relentless pressure to produce.
